Mindfulness Meditation

The practitioner for mindfulness meditation is not only a member of the International Mindfulness Teacher Association but also a lifelong Zen student.  Her Kashmiri heritage is one steeped in centuries of knowledge and practice of complementary therapies. Buddhism arrived in Kashmir in 300 BCE and flourished in the region, providing its unique source of influence. 

Mindfulness techniques have been used to manage stress and anxiety for centuries.  Here, students can either take an 8-week course or have ad hoc lessons.

Mindfulness gets better with practice and it is worth remembering that each person's growth and development varies and it is never a linear progression.  You will be on your own journey with as little or as much guidance as your body and mind requires.  

Mindfulness is potentially life changing with limitless psychological and physiological benefits.  Here, it is not part of a fad, which happens to be sweeping the nation, but the foundation of Zen Life Highlands.
